It was a scorching night at Meggetland on Friday evening and it was a scorcher of a race in the 110m final. Inches separated the finalists on the tape and after the judges referred to the video technology, Douglas Young the backmarker in the final emerged as the victor from Sophie Elder and Marcus Archer.
After four successive runner up positions Nina Cessford was victorious in the 200m.
